Hiking and cycling:
One of the best things about Dubai is its proximity to nature. There are plenty of hiking trails and cycling routes in and around the city that offers beautiful views of the landscape. Be sure to bring your water bottle and sunscreen, though, as it can get hot out there!

Dubai has some amazing parks, which are perfect for a relaxing afternoon stroll or a morning jog. Some of our favorites include Jumeirah Beach Park, Safa Park, and Al Barsha Pond Park.
Explore the souks:
The traditional markets in Dubai are a great place to explore local culture and shop for bargains. The Gold Souk and Spice Souk are both must-visits, but there are also souks selling everything from clothes to electronics. Just be prepared to haggle!
Visit a museum:
Dubai has some excellent museums, many of which are free to enter. Our favorites include the Museum of Islamic Art, the Dubai Museum, and the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding.
Take a walk or run on the beach:
The beaches in Dubai are definitely worth a visit, and what’s better than taking a walk or running on them for free? Some of our favorite beaches include Jumeirah Beach Park, Kite Beach, and JBR Beach.
Watch the sunset:
One of the most beautiful things about Dubai is its setting sun. Head to one of the city’s rooftop bars or restaurants to watch the sun go down, or simply find a spot on the beach for some peace and quiet.
Attend a free event:

Stroll around Downtown Dubai:
Downtown Dubai is one of the most beautiful areas, with its mix of modern skyscrapers and traditional Arabic architecture. It’s also home to some excellent shopping malls, restaurants, and hotels. So be sure to take a walk (or ride) through this vibrant neighborhood!
Visit a mosque:
Mosques are an important part of Islamic culture, and many of them are open to the public for free visits. Our favorites include the Jumeirah Mosque and the Grand Mosque.
